Scotland is a great fossiling place with many places to explore. Sadly not everyone stimulates fossiling as many sites have been closed (even for researchers) by bureaucrats with no affinity of fossils.

If you don’t mind the freezing cold and constant rain then Scotland is a lovely place to look for fossils.
